Planning Application Forms

In line with the national requirement, the Council requires the completion of national standard planning application forms. The application check list has been reviewed and was subject to consultation between October and December 2010. The latest check list has been approved and published in line with government regulations ‘Guidance on Information Requirements and Validation (March 2010)’.

We encourage applicants to submit applications online using our simple interactive forms. Before submitting your application, please ensure that you have read the information on planning application requirements. Alternatively you can download the forms and submit them in the traditional way.

On this page you can download the application forms themselves, the accompanying form guidance notes. If you are not sure which application form you need, please contact the Planning Service on (01983) 823552. Alternatively, an online facility on the Planning Portal enables you identify the correct form and you can then either complete the form online or print the form off and submit your application on paper.
