The Island’s main newspaper featuring all the weeks local news stories. Pull-out features include the property press, motoring and jobs section, and the weekender guide to entertainment, sport, leisure and dining out.
The County Press is published weekly on a Friday, costs 70p and is available from all newsagents and supermarkets.
The Island’s FM radio station, featuring local news, sport, weather, competitions, traffic and travel updates. Musical output ranges from classic hits to the best of today. Local and national news bulletins are broadcast on the hour and half hour with the main headlines available via the Isle of Wight Radio website.

Island Life is a bi-monthly magazine which reflects the finer things happening on the Island including a range of subjects from property, dining out, equestrian, local features, Island history, art, sailing, travel and the countryside. Island Life can be picked up free of charge in many estate agents, supermarkets, public buildings and tourist information outlets across the Island.
This free A5 full colour magazine aims to promote ‘everything that’s good about the Island.’ Delivered door to door to 65,000 homes and businesses on a monthly basis, there are seven editions; West Wight, Newport, Cowes, Ryde, South Wight, East Wight and the Bay. Regular features include 'Eating Out', 'Health and Well-being', Homes and Gardens' and 'Outdoor Pursuits.’ The Beacon also contains a monthly historical write-up ('Island Story') and handy 'What's On' diary.
