WHAT’S NEW?

Article 31
Following changes to the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2010 by Government, the local planning authority will include a new statement at the bottom of all decision notices issued from the 1 December 2012.

This statement confirms how the local planning authority has worked with the applicant in a positive and proactive manner to achieve sustainable development schemes. 

This additional statement is in line with the National Planning Policy Framework paragraph 186-187. To view the National Planning Policy Framework please click here.


Planning Fees
The fees for planning applications are determined and set nationally by Government.  The Government has instructed the Local Planning Authority that the fees for planning applications have been increased by 15% from the 22 November 2012.
