Direct Payments (DP)

These are advocates who are able to support people with limited or no capacity to make decisions for the individual and about the individual in their best interests. IMCAs are mostly available to you if you have no friends, family or carers to support you. IMCA support is time limited and only available in relation to housing moves and medical treatment.
