  • Local Assistance Scheme (LAS)
    This scheme applies to Island residents who are in genuine hardship (which cannot be met through other means) so that they are able to access support they need, financial or otherwise, quickly and effectively. The scheme will start in April 2013. To read more and make any comments click here.

  • Highways PFI Consultation
    In September 2012 the Isle of Wight Council commissioned Island Road Services to undertake improvements and maintenance of the Island’s road network. Island Road Services have now developed a Strategic Environmental Assessment Report and Habitats Regulations Assessment Report in relation to the Highways PFI project.
