The Isle of Wight Register Office is situated at Seaclose Offices, Fairlee Road, Newport. The Registration Service is responsible for the registration of births, deaths and marriages occurring on the Island, licensing venues where civil marriages may be solemnised and conducting civil marriage ceremonies. The Register Office also holds the birth, death and marriage registers dating from 1 July 1837 to the present day for the island only.
