Approved Premises

Apart from the Register Office at Seaclose Park , the Isle of Wight has a number of Approved Premises. These range from hotels to manor houses. You must make a booking with the venue of your choice before contacting the Registration Services team who will then advise you as to the times available on that day. With prior arrangement, Registrars can attend ceremonies at Approved Premises on any day including Sundays and Bank Holidays, provided that we have two Registrars available.

There is an attendance fee for having a ceremony at an Approved Premises. This fee is payable approximately 3 weeks prior to your marriage and guarantees the attendance of Superintendent Registrar (or Deputy) and a Registrar on the day of your wedding or civil partnership . We recommend that you discuss the format of your ceremony with the Superintendent Registrar (or Deputy) at this time.
