The Heights Leisure Centre

Phase 1 is complete and The Heights is now re-open, with new improved pools, a new bright and airy 70-station Tone Zone with the latest hi-tech Pulse fitness equipment.  New activity studio.

When is it open?

Seven days a week. For opening times, please phone for details. The centre is closed for certain days between Christmas and New Year, please phone for details.  The brand-new cafe overlooking the pools and Tone Zone is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, Saturday 8.30am to 5pm and on Sunday from 9am to 5pm.

The new 70-station Tone Zone is open  Monday to Friday 7am to 9pm, Saturday 8am to 6pm and on Sunday from 8am to 6pm.  A new Tone Zone information leaflet will be available shortly.

Is there parking?
There is a public car park on site.  The first two hours are free of charge to enable Heights' customers to use the centre without being charged any additional money.  You must obtain a ticket from the ticket machine even if you're parking for less than two hours or arriving before 8am.  If you're spending longer than the two hours at The Heights, you can obtain a 'third hour free' ticket from staff at reception.  You must display this ticket with your parking machine ticket.  This additional ticket will expire one hour after the time shown on your two-hour ticket.  Failure to comply could lead to a penalty charge notice.

Routes 2, 3 and 8 stop right outside.

Fitness studio

Two squash courts have been converted into a brand-new activity studio - at the end of Phase 2 in February 2013, there will be three activity studios at The Heights (one will be set up as a group cycle studio)
