Aiming High for Disabled Children

WHO’S WHO AND WHAT WE DO

How governed?

Aiming High is guided by the Children’s Trust – the strategic body on the Isle of Wight which is involved in decision-making for Children’s services. However, a Steering Group composed of a cross-section of professionals meets on a two-monthly basis to decide on priorities for spending and delivery planning. Key items from this Steering Group will be reported to the new Special Educational Needs and Learning Difficulties and Disabilities (SEN/LDD) group which reports to the Children’s Trust. All financial decisions have to be ratified by the Head of Children’s services and the Cabinet.
