| SA | School Action – Where a class teacher has identified that a pupil has some special educational needs, additional strategies or support are given to the pupil and an IEP drawn up |
| SAP | School Action Plus - If School Action has not helped a child with SEN to make sufficient progress, the school asks for outside help from either the LA’s support services or from health or social work professionals |
