Fort Victoria Country Park Education Services

Fort Victoria Country Park is owned by the IW Council and managed by Countryside Services.

This unique environment is set within 20 hectares of coastal woodland, with over a mile of beach and unprotected coastal landslip, combining to create an atmosphere of untamed natural wilderness.

The Fort also commands spectacular views over The Solent. With such vast habitat diversity in a relatively small are, Fort Victoria Country Park is an ideal location for school study visits.

SchoolStudyVisits00
Thousands of school children visit Fort Victoria every year and many come to take advantage of the exciting fossil hunting opportunities.

With 40 million year old turtle shell and crocodile hide to be found along the shoreline, this provides pupils with a unique finale to their visit.
