Heritage Open Days on the Isle of Wight

Experience the Island’s fantastic local history, architecture and culture for free.
Thursday 6th – Sunday 9th September 2007

Heritage Open Days celebrate England’s fantastic architecture, history and culture. As part of this major national event (coordinated by the Civic Trust and English Heritage), the Isle of Wight is offering you a chance to experience its fantastic local history, architecture and culture for free.

You will be able to visit interesting buildings, which would usually be closed to the public or where an admission fee would normally be charged. There will also be a variety of guided tours on offer. Please keep checking the site for 2007 events.
