If you have not had a hearing test before, you should go to your Doctor who will check for infection, wax or other possible causes of impaired hearing.

If necessary, your Doctor will arrange an appointment with a Consultant at St. Mary’s Hospital who may refer you to an Audiologist or the Audiology Department for a hearing test.

If a hearing aid is recommended, an impression will be taken of your ear and an individual ear mould will be made.

You will be contacted when your hearing aid is ready for collection.
