Public Footpath R89, St Helens (Priory Woods) will be closed from the top of the beach access steps to approx 80 metres from the end (Duver car park end)due to unsafe ground conditions.

The closure has been extended by the Secretary of State for Transport and will run until 14 September 2013 or when the works have been completed, if sooner.

The alternative route for pedestrians will be: Following the Coastal Path via the Esplanade at Nettlestone, Public Footpath R74, Public Bridleway R84, Public Footpath R85 and Duver Car Park at St Helens.
