Public Footpath SS43 has been closed from Friday 11 Jan 2013 until further notice, the closure runs from a point 500m east of Yaverland Road to its junction with Public Footpath SS95 (at the back of the holiday centre).

The closure is necessary to prevent the likelihood of danger to the public which is due to damage caused by cliff erosion.

During the period of closure the alternative route for pedestrians will be Public Footpath SS95, Bembridge Road and Yaverland Road
