Public Bridleway SW43 has been closed from 29 Jan 2013 and is expected to remain shut for some time, whilst the land has time to settle after a land slip. This is between Kennel Lane, Chale and Kingston Road, Shorwell

Once the land has stabilised repair works can be considered.

In the meantime it is necessary to close this to the public to prevent the likelihood of danger arising.

During the period of closure the alternative routes will be:

Pedestrians: Kingston Road, Footpath SW42 and Kennel Lane.
Cyclists and Equestrians: Kingston Road and Kennel Lane.
