Join the Library


It’s easy to join the Isle of Wight Library Service. Just fill in this form and you will be given a library membership number and PIN straightaway.

Once you have joined you will get instant access to:
  • The library catalogue – reserve books to pick up at your local library.
  • Free Audio Downloads
  • Online language courses

Once you have received your library card through the post you will also have access to:
  • the Encyclopaedia Britannica online, anywhere in the world.
  • Have your own reference library – get access to Oxford Online – a huge collection of dictionaries, atlases, encyclopaedias and other reference books.
  • Get help with your crosswords by checking out the Oxford English Dictionary – the most comprehensive English dictionary in the world
