The members of the Island’s Learning Disability Partnership Board have set up this website. The information on this website will help people to work together and make life better for people with a learning disability and their carers.

The Partnership Board has been set up by the Isle of Wight Council and has people from over 30 local groups on it. It also has people with a learning disability as well as carers on it.

The groups who attend can make their own decisions, but they should listen to what the Partnership Board has to say about what they do. This is because the Board helps everyone to see the 'bigger picture' about what needs to be done. |
“Together we will open doors to a world where all people can keep on learning and growing” |
The Partnership Board has some rules about how it works. These rules are called Terms of Reference. It says who should be members of the Board and rules for its meetings. It also says what the Board wants to do and how it will do them. |
