Round the Island Cycle Route

Please view the Round the Island Cycle Route Map here. The map may be printed out for your own use.

A 62 mile route through some of the Island’s best scenery, mainly using quieter lanes, signed with a white bike clockwise, and a blue bike anti-clockwise. It is a moderately hilly route that can either be completed in a day, or at a more leisurely pace over 2 to 3 days.

Please note that Cowes High Street is a pedestrian area between 10am and 6pm, closed to cyclists. Please either walk with your bike through the High Street between these times of follow the alternative signed, rather hilly route.

Thanks to the Wayfarers Cycle Touring club www.cycleisland.co.uk that developed this route for the annual Randonee cycling event, which takes place in April or May each year.
