Photocopies
Photocopies can be made subject to the document's physical condition and copyright regulations. The charges are 20p for A4 and 25p for A3. There is a minimum charge of £1.00 for copies ordered by post, and a handling charge of £3.00 if more than 10 copies are ordered by post.
Copies from Microfilm
It is possible to print copies from material held on microfilm/fiche. The charges for these are 25p for A4 and 30p for A3 when the copying is undertaken by a member of the public. (Please note that it is advisable to book the microfilm printer in advance.) When the copies are ordered by post, there is £3.00 handling charge to cover the cost of the staff searching the microfilm/fiche (see
Research Service).
Laser Copies
Laser copies can be provided when a higher quality reproduction is required. The charges are: Black & White A4 30p A3 50p; Colour A4 80p A3 £1.00. Orders may take a week or so to be processed, since the documents have to be taken to another department.
Photographic Copies
It is also possible to make an appointment to take digital images of documents using your own equipment.
