Catalogues are available for these collections in the Record Office search room at Hillside. For example our Estate collection would include catalogues of the deposited records of both the Oglander and Worsley families. Our parish collection comprises catalogues for each island parish and would include details of all the surviving baptism, marriage and burial registers from 1539 together with other documents such as those relating to Poor Relief and churchwardens accounts.

We are currently updating our web site to include all of our catalogues some pages are still in the process of construction and therefore full catalogues are not yet available for every collection.

Many of the catalogues of the Isle of Wight Record Office can be viewed on line by visiting the Access to Archives database. This gives details of archives held throughout England, dating from the 900s to the present date.
