The Record Office holds records of a number of the Island’s hospitals. These include minutes, annual reports, accounts, correspondence and records of patients, although the quantity and range of material that survives for a particular hospital varies.



The records are subject to closure periods: patients’ records are closed for 100 years, while most other records are closed for 30 years.
