It sets out details of our performance as a Council by publishing the national Best Value Performance Indicators. It is an appendix to the Councils Corporate Plan “One Island” which outlines the authorities corporate objectives and priorities for the coming year.
This document sets out key activities and targets for 2005/06. Similar statements will be prepared for each year of the Corporate Plan in order to provide a focus for the realisation of longer-term strategic objectives.
The Council published results and targets for all its Best Value Performance Indicators in its Best Value Performance Plan in June 2005. An external audit of the indicators was carried out and some were found to be wrong. This addendum lists the correct values for all indicators and should be read in conjunction with the Best Value Performance Plan.

This survey ascertains local people’s levels of satisfaction with the services provided by the Council. Responses were sought on a variety of issues relating to quality of life and the environment on the Island.
The Best Value Review of Planning Services is part of the IW Council's review programme for 2002/03.
