Safeguarding Children and the Ofsted Framework for Governors

Target Group:
All Governors, Associate Members and Clerks to Governors should undertake/renew this training every 3 years

Course Aims:

An overview of the current issues regarding safeguarding and in relation to the Ofsted Framework 

• Information on safeguarding requirements and integrated working
• Outline of definitions and documentation
• An understanding of the role of the Governing Body in relation to safeguarding

Intended Impact:
Governors will be able to challenge and support the school with regard to safeguarding requirements and will have an idea of what is required for an Inspection
