Inspiring Wonder, Learning and Language through Shakespeare

Target Group:
English/ Drama subject leaders, teachers, teaching assistants, Reception – Year 6

Course Aims:

By the end of the day, participants will have:

• A range of strategies for introducing Shakespeare  plays which are appropriate to their age group(s)
• Practical experience of speaking and exploring the text
• Ideas for using Shakespeare to enrich children’s spoken and written language

Notes:
It is a practical session so we advise flat shoes and comfortable clothing.
Lunch will be provided.
