Termly Meeting for Clerks and Development Governors

Target Group:

Course Aims:
Clerks to Governors and Development Governors Briefing sessions on new information, guidance and strategies to enable provision of an effective clerking service and appropriate development opportunities for governing bodies. The group will be able to discuss ongoing and specific training needs for governing bodies. The meetings allow Clerks and Development governors to network and ensure best practice is shared across schools.

Intended Impact:

Updates on new legislation and National and Local guidance and information followed by opportunities to:

• discuss and share good practice/learn from experienced clerks and governors
• give views and opinions on current issues
• review training that has taken place/identify further training needs share and consider suggestions for further development
