National Training Programme for Clerks to Governing Bodies

Target Group:
Clerks to Governors

Course Aims:

This course will run from September through June, when a local certificate of attendance will be awarded. The course offers training through the full range of clerking duties to enable clerks develop their role with confidence.

Course content

Sessions are focused on the following:

• The Governing Body and Meetings
• The Clerk as Administrator
• The Clerk as Information Manager
• The Clerk as Adviser

Notes:
Clerks should attend all sessions to gain certificate for completion of the course
