Course Trainer:Vicky Hutchin - Vicky Hutchin has had a long career in early childhood education, beginning with work in playgroups, later becoming a nursery and reception teacher working in both primary and nursery schools. She began working in advisory posts in the mid 1980s for ILEA, first in the then famous Bilingual Under Fives Team, and later –post ILEA- as a consultant/adviser in Early Years in three local authorities. Vicky is passionate about getting the provision right for every child by providing motivating experiences, building on the children’s interests and enthusiasms. In 2005 she joined the National Strategies Early Years Team where she has worked as a regional adviser, then a senior regional adviser supporting local authorities (LAs) in London and the South East, occasionally venturing North. From January 2010 to March 2011 she supported the 16 LAs in the South West.
