Managing Behaviour (3rd session of 3) (participants must have attended Understanding Behaviour

Target Group:
Any staff working with children/young people wishing to develop their skills in managing challenging behaviour in children & young people, Teaching staff; support staff; behaviour support workers; MSAs; volunteers.

Course Aims:

  • To provide an understanding of challenging behaviours
  • To develop effective behaviour management strategies.


Intended Impact:

  • To support schools’ staff in development of strategies to manage challenging behaviour
  • To improve confidence in managing behaviour, emotional and social difficulties.
  • To provide an opportunity for staff to share good practice and develop solution orientated and supportive practice.
