Andrew Turner of the Conservative Party has been chosen as the Isle of Wight MP.
The announcement was made by Returning Officer Peter Kingston at 03:06 on Friday 7 May at Medina Leisure Centre in Newport.
The turnout was 64.02% (70,376 votes) and the individual votes were as follows:-

Mike Tarrant -- UK Independence Party (UKIP) - 2,435
