Description of Service: As well as being responsible for the provision and maintenance of street furniture such as seating, decorative lighting, cycle racks etc. to enhance local public areas, the Isle of Wight Council's Highways Department deal with the processing of applications and issuing of licences to use a portion of a public street road or place for the placing of tables chairs and other furniture outside a restaurant.
