Service Description: The department is concerned with feedback relating to all Council Services (Adult Service, Childrens Services, Housing and Environmental Services). It deals with vexatious complainants,the Local Government Ombudsman (LGO) complaints and provides statistical information on complaints handling to members and officers of the council. It does not deal with individual complaints which should be addressed to the service concerned in the first instance. (Please see the "making a complaint" sub - heading tab for further information)

Your FAQ

Question: How long will it take to resolve my complaint?

Answer: We normally expect to reply within 20 working days of receipt. It can take longer when investigations are more complex, but we will let you know if the need to extend the reply timescale arises and explain the reasons.
