Service Description: The department is concerned with feedback relating to all Council Services (Adult Service, Childrens Services, Housing and Environmental Services). It deals with vexatious complainants,the Local Government Ombudsman (LGO) complaints and provides statistical information on complaints handling to members and officers of the council. It does not deal with individual complaints which should be addressed to the service concerned in the first instance. (Please see the "making a complaint" sub - heading tab for further information)

Question: What sort of outcomes can I expect?

Answer: If we agree that the Council has done something wrong, we will try to put it right. Usually, this can be as straightforward as providing an explanation and apology, but other outcomes can be available depending on the nature of the problem.
