Service Description: The department is concerned with feedback relating to all Council Services (Adult Service, Childrens Services, Housing and Environmental Services). It deals with vexatious complainants,the Local Government Ombudsman (LGO) complaints and provides statistical information on complaints handling to members and officers of the council. It does not deal with individual complaints which should be addressed to the service concerned in the first instance. (Please see the "making a complaint" sub - heading tab for further information)

Question: Who can use the complaints procedure?

Answer: Anyone who has a complaint about council services which requires an answer. You don’t have to be an adult, a council tax payer, or an Islander to use the complaints procedure.
