Service Description: The key forums for leaders in health and wellbeing are the Shadow Health and Wellbeing Board and the Executive Board. The boards key priorities are to work together for the Island community to improve the quality of life for all residents and to make a difference to people’s lives on the Island. This includes ensuring children and young people are given the best start in life, helping and supporting people to prepare for old age and to manage long-term health conditions, building and sustaining economic growth for the Island, enabling people to make healthy choices for healthy lifestyles and making the Isle of Wight a better place to live in and visit.
