Worried about a child

Also known as:- Child in Need, Child protection referrals, Children's First Response, Children's Safeguarding Service, Family support, First Response, Referral and Assesment

Service Description: Children's First Response is the service to contact If you are worried about a child.

If you need support with your family and children or if you have concerns about a child’s safety, wellbeing or development, please contact the service.

If you are worried about a child's immediate safety contact the police on 999.

Professionals on the island and from the mainland should use Children's First Response as their initial point of contact.

Any requests for support or concerns about a child should be emailed to Children's First Response by using the "send a message tab".
