Buying Additional Pension

As a member of the Local Government Pension Scheme it is possible to increase your benefits by Additional Regular Contributions (ARC’s) or Additional Voluntary Contributions (AVC’s). The ARC’s purchase additional pension in multiples of £250, whereas AVC’s can be used to buy an additional pension or fund an additional lump sum.
