Driven by two 20BHP "Kadenacy" diesel engines, that gave her a top speed of 7.5 knots, she cost £15,040. In 1967 the Grace Darling was transferred to the relief fleet, and in 1971 she was stationed at Youghal in Ireland. She served there for several years, before being withdrawn. | | |
