CYCLE TRAINING

The Isle of Wight Council is committed to improving safety for cyclists and delivers the National Standard of cycling training which is based upon the standard at which Bikeability is based. This cycle training is dubbed the Cycling Proficiency Test for the 21st century



In addition to the cycle training, the Road Safety Team carries out publicity and awareness campaigns to promote safe cycling, the benefits and importance of wearing a helmet, high visibility clothing and the need to use bike lights.
