Statement of Accounts

The Statement of Accounts is a statutory document published each year which shows the financial performance of the Council and details of our finances. Our accounts are prepared in accordance with the Code of Practice on Local Authority Accounting and are audited each year by the Audit Commission.

From these pages you will be able to view the Council’s Statement of Accounts for a number of years. These records will be updated each year as new information becomes available. The pages also contain a link to a document, which has been produced to explain the legal position regarding the right of members of the public to inspect the accounting records and documents of the Council.
