The Council can dispose of syringes found on the streets. If you find a syringe please notify us immediately on 823777

Syringes on private land

It is the responsibility of the private landowner to remove any syringes on their land. Contact us for details of contractors who are able remove syringes from private land at the cost of the landowner.

Reporting a Problem

If you wish to report to us a problem with regard to syringes either call us on 823777 (normal office hours) or email Highways.
