Carers’ Strategy Consultation – UNDERGOING ANALYSIS

Background:
The Isle of Wight Council and the Isle of Wight Clinical Commissioning Group are working in partnership with Carers UK to undertake a survey with carers providing support to individuals living on the Island. The purpose of the survey is to gain a picture of what the issues are for carers on the Island and to then produce a joint Carers Strategy Document in April 2013.
Outcome:

The council is now analysing the comments received in regards to the Carers’ Strategy consultation.

Regulatory Services Enforcement Policy Consultation – UNDERGOING ANALYSIS


Start of consultation: 04/01/2013
End of consultation: 31/01/2013

Background:

The Isle of Wight Council is revising its Regulatory Services Enforcement Policy. This policy applies to all the legislation enforced by council officers with delegated enforcement powers employed by Regulatory Services.

Outcome:

The council is now analysing the comments received in regards to the Regulatory Services Enforcement Policy consultation.

Revised Hackney Carriage Table of Fares Consultation – UNDERGOING ANALYSIS


Start of consultation: 14/12/2012
End of consultation: 14/01/2013

Background:

The Isle of Wight Council’s Regulatory Committee determined on 10 December 2012 to vary the existing Hackney Carriage Table of Fares.

Outcome:

The council is now analysing any objections received that related to the proposed amendments and will consider these and determine whether to proceed with or amend the proposed changes.

Meaders Road – Oakvale Pedestrian Link Consultation – UNDERGOING ANALYSIS

End of consultation: 17/12/2012

Background:
The Isle of Wight Council is seeking views on the Meaders Road to Oakvale pedestrian link. This link has been open since April 2010 but has been the subject of reports to the Police and complaints to the Isle of Wight Council. We are seeking your views on whether there is a case to consider closing the link. If the council considers that there is a case to close the link, either permanently or at certain times of the day or night only, then it must apply for a ‘gating order’.

Outcome:

The council is now analysing the results of the Meaders Road-Oakvale Pedestrian Link consultation survey.

Health & Wellbeing Strategy Consultation – UNDERGOING ANALYSIS


Start of consultation: 22/10/2012
End of consultation: 17/12/2012

Background:

The Isle of Wight Shadow Health & Wellbeing Board and executive board will be the key forums for leaders in health and social care to work together, on behalf of the local community, to improve the health and wellbeing of people living on the Isle of Wight.

We all want to make sure that, as residents on the Isle of Wight, we are able to lead long, safe, happy, healthy and fulfilling lives both now and in the future.

Outcome:

The council is now analysing the results of the Health & Wellbeing Strategy consultation survey.

Autism Strategy Consultation - UNDERGOING ANALYSIS

Start of consultation: 12/07/2012
End of consultation: 10/12/2012

Background:

Following the initial autism consultation a participation report was written and comments on the report or about how we can improve support to people with autism were requested.

Outcome:

The autism strategy will now be written from the information received on the participation report and other comments received. The draft strategy will be available here in January 2013 and there will be a further opportunity to comment before the strategy is finalised.

SEN Alternative Provision Consultation - UNDERGOING ANALYSIS


Start of consultation: 20/09/2012
End of consultation: 02/11/2012

Background:

Following the consultation for the proposals to relocate and expand centrally retained alternative provision and educational support services, the statutory notice was published in the County Press on Friday 21 September 2012 and notices have been erected at each of the proposed sites.

Sensory Impairment Consultation – UNDERGOING ANALYSIS

End of consultation: 24/09/2012

Background:

IWC is reviewing the sensory impairment services currently available to ensure the best and most cost effective support is provided in the future.

As part of the review we are consulting with current service users as well as the wider public.

Outcome:

The council is now analysing the results of the Sensory Impairment Consultation.

Regulatory Services Enforcement Policy Consultation – UNDERGOING ANALYSIS


Start of consultation: 13/07/2012
End of consultation: 10/08/2012

Background:
Regulatory Services’ primary function is to achieve regulatory compliance in order to protect the public, legitimate business, the environment and groups such as consumers and workers. However, we reserve the right to take enforcement action in some cases after compliance has been achieved if it is in the public interest to do so.

This Policy applies to all the legislation enforced by Officers with delegated enforcement powers employed by Regulatory Services.

Enforcement’ includes any criminal or civil action taken by Officers aimed at ensuring that individuals or businesses comply with the law.

By this document Regulatory Services intends to enable Officers to interpret and apply relevant legal requirements fairly and consistently.

Outcome:

The council is now analysing the results of the Regulatory Services Enforcement Policy Consultation.
