Directions to County Hall

Directions from East Cowes Car Ferry

On leaving the car ferry, drive straight ahead to roundabout - go straight on.

Drive up the hill; take the left hand lane around the bend.
Do not leave the main road - keep straight on past Osborne House and straight across at the roundabout at Hawthorn Meadows/Barton Manor. Follow the Whippingham Road for 2 miles until you reach a third large roundabout.

Take second exit, sign posted to Newport

From roundabout continue for approx. 2 miles on the main road

As you approach Newport, you will pass through a set of traffic lights and see Fairlee Garage on the right hand side of the road. After 100 metres, turn right at traffic lights

Turn right again after 40 metres at next traffic lights, keep in lane marked for Cowes and travel round into the dual carriageway (Medina Way).

Take first exit after only 50 metres from dual carriageway

Turn left at mini roundabout and take first left at the public house called 'The Railway Medina'

You are now approaching Newport Quay on your left and the County Hall car park barrier straight in front of you

On reaching the barrier, press the button and the receptionist will direct you to your car parking space

Directions from Fishbourne Car Ferry

On leaving the car ferry, turn right into Fishbourne Lane. Turn right at the end of Fishbourne Lane and follow road signs to Newport (A 3054).

As you approach Newport, you will pass through a set of traffic lights and see Fairlee Garage on the right hand side of the road. After 100 metres, turn right at traffic lights

Turn right again after 40 metres at next traffic lights, keep in lane marked for Cowes and travel round into the dual carriageway (Medina Way).

Take first exit after only 50 metres from dual carriageway

Turn left at mini roundabout and take first left at the public house called 'The Railway Medina'

You are now approaching Newport Quay on your left and the County Hall car park barrier straight in front of you

On reaching the barrier, press the button and the receptionist will direct you to your car parking space

Directions from Yarmouth Car Ferry

When you arrive in Yarmouth, take the A 3054 to Newport until you reach the roundabout (at the junction with the A 3020). Take the third exit (on to the dual carriageway) and follow the dual carriage way for about half a mile, turn left follow the road round, go under the bridge, round the mini-roundabout (Curry's will be on your right). Take second left turning, then first left turning. Carry on straight through until you reach the County Hall barrier.

Directions from Ventnor

Take the road to Wroxall (B 3327)

Go through Wroxall

Turn left at Whiteley Bank (mini-roundabout)

Go through Sandford and Godshill remaining on the main road

Go through Rookley and continue to Blackwater

Turn left at junction (just after semi-permanent traffic lights) to join A 3056 signposted Newport.

Continue through first roundabout and continue to Coppins Bridge roundabout

Follow signs on road for Cowes (third exit), proceed up the dual carriageway through the next set of lights and take the immediate slip road to mini-roundabout

Take first left and left again

Banner entrance to County Hall immediately ahead (main road goes round to right)
