WP Recruitment Ltd has been successfully supplying temporary, contract and permanent staff to companies across the Island for over eighteen years. Initially set up as a secretarial agency the company has expanded to meet their clients’ needs and now supply all levels of staff to all industries (with the exception of Child Care, Nursing and Teaching) ,which has resulted in them achieving excellent local knowledge.

Registration involves a detailed look into a candidate’s work experiences and identifies transferable skills. Checks are made into eligibility to work and proof of qualifications and a skills assessment is carried out, where applicable. All candidates are registered prior to placement and temporary staff are continually monitored on their performance. Advice is also given on suitable training courses available locally in order to improve candidate’s abilities.

2009 sees the expansion of the services WP Recruitment Ltd have available to candidates with new training provision in order to provide a full work seeking package, this includes the opportunities to undertake Interview Skills Training and various Microsoft Office computer courses to refresh or improve skills and is in addition to the CV Compilation Service already available. The courses are conducted from their offices in Newport in specifically refurbished premises.
As well as supporting the business community WP Recruitment Ltd are also greatly involved in charity work for local causes such as the Earl Mountbatten Hospice and larger charity events such as Comic Relief.
