Bubblegum and Cheese Roadshow
Bubblegum and Cheese is a musical adventure, it’s a mindset, an attitude – it’s all about having a great time based around the kind of records that you simply don’t hear on the airwaves anymore.
Tens of thousands have and continue to enjoy Bubblegum and Cheese on the radio around the UK, now the experience is available as a live show.
What We Do & How It Happened
Bubblegum and Cheese is the creation of award winning radio broadcaster Alex Dyke. Over the years the radio show has become so popular that listeners of all ages started requesting that Alex create his own Bubblegum and Cheese Disco Party Nights. These events soon began selling out in record time and larger venues had to be found.
We then started adding some of the original hit-makers from the 60's, 70's and 80's.
After that we received interest from big events like the Isle of Wight International Scooter Rally, Bournemouth Air Festival, Cowes Week and The Butlins Big Weekends; we’ve even played gigs in the USA.
So no matter what the location, budget or size, a disco party for a 100 party goers at a wedding or a massive festival stage full of props, special effects, giveaways, Go-Go Girls and the biggest names from the 60's to the 80's; if you want a truly unique party experience and to sample the best of times please contact us. We’re available 52 weeks of the year.
What Is Bubblegum and Cheese?
We’re talking about world superstars and one hit wonders: the Beatles, Elvis, Sinatra, the Who, the Monkees and the Stones. Then there’s Lulu, KC and the Sunshine Band, Modern Romance and the Rah Band along with the Archies, The Jags and Bill Lovelady.
Hit-makers such as the Brotherhood of Man, The Real Thing, Les McKeown’s Legendary Bay City Rollers, Hello, The Rubettes, David Van Day are just a few of the acts we represent and work alongside to bring you the best party experience the Island has to offer!
