Children due to start school in September 2013 must be born on or between 1 September 2008 and 31 August 2009.
By law children must start school at the start of the term following their fifth birthday. Most children will start school when they are four years old. Before completing your application we recommend you read our educating your child booklet.
The closing date for primary school applications was Tuesday 15 January 2013 at 4.30pm. However you can still apply for a place, application forms are available from County Hall, Newport or you can download the form on-line to complete by clicking here.
