If you need help to live more independently in your own home, you may be able to receive care and support from the council.
Non residential services include home care, personal budget, day care, Lifeline alarm, Telecare.
The council charges for most social care services and uses the Fairer Charging policy to work out how much you can afford to pay.
The amount you pay usually depends upon your financial position and a council financial assessment officer will contact you to complete the financial assessment.
