On-street Pay & Display

On-street pay and display locations are provided in two designations.

Short stay of up to two hours is available within Newport and St Mary’s Road, Cowes to promote a higher turnover of spaces within the town centres.

Long stay on-street is available upon esplanades, Ryde Canoe Lake and Cowes Parade. Charges are seasonal (April to October) on esplanades, apart from Ryde - where charges apply all year.

Note that Penalty Charge Notices (up to £70) will be issued for the following parking contraventions:

• No valid ticket, ticket expired, parking permit expired.
• Misuse of a parking permit.
• Improper parking, misuse of disabled bays, misuse of motorcycle bays.
• Not parked within a designated bay.
• Any other violation of the parking order.
