In order to fulfill our public sector equality duty, the council is required to publish its workforce profile. This information is used to help the council monitor the number of employees, recruitment, promotion, training, pay, grievances and disciplinary action by reference to the nine protected characteristics as defined by the Equality Act 2010: age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage/civil partnership, preganancy/maternity, race, religion/belief, sex or sexual orientation.
