Telecare

Telecare makes it possible for people to maintain an independent and dignified life in their own home by coupling additional equipment and sensors that works alongside your community alarm equipment.

Telecare equipment includes a range of sensors, detectors, monitors and alarms tailored to your individual needs. These might include motion sensors that will detect if an individual has fallen, sensors to detect environmental dangers such as fire or gas, sensors which detect when a door has been opened or the provision of a bogus caller alarm.

The sensors are monitored by the 24-hour Response centre, 365 days a year where experienced and professional staff are on hand to assist you.

Telecare gives people the opportunity to feel safe in their home knowing that support is there. The service also gives carers and relatives the reassurance of knowing that someone is keeping a discreet 'eye' on the person they care for.
